Wow! Very interesting! This guy is really crazy looking, especially with that hair. I really like the shading though, it's smooth, and yet at the same time sharp enough to really define all the edges. It looks like charcoal, right?

Yup its charcoal. As much as I can make charcoal work for me now, I still hate it with the fire of a thousand suns. I'm actually getting kinda tired of using mediums I hate - charcoal, scultpture, Maya... I'm sorry! Its that time of year. Thank you so much for you comment! I miss you!

Still, it's good to see you post something every once in a while. And at least you're using actual mediums, you know? Mostly I don't have the time or the materials and always end up doing things digitally on photoshop, which, while it IS art and just as difficult, the technique is rather different, so I end up not getting any practice with difficult mediums like charcoal and watercolour (I tried doing a watercolour the other day, and I forgot I needed to go from light to dark, not dark to light...lol...I managed to save it, sort of...). So, yeah, at least one of us is progressing!
